One of the most beautiful effects that watercolour has is the wet on wet blending of colour. That's what I've done here in this next step of the painting. I wanted to darken the reflection to suggest the buildings, but not try to copy them. I used the same colours. I've taken the mask off the buildings to reveal the splashes of light. I love the warmth a the bottom of the buildings. The mask is still in the reflection. I used a green around the horizon line to suggest a murky weedy river bank.
